Workshops
Architectural models of megalithic structures
During a two-day educational workshop, students from the Samshvilde and Tsintskaro village schools collaboratively built architectural models of four megalithic structures: the Megalithic Wall of Dagheti, the Nakhiduri complex, the ruins of the abandoned Andria settlement, and the remains of the Zurghiani Tower complex near the village of Muguti. As part of the project "Introduction to the Megaliths of the Khrami Valley," the National Trust of Georgia is actively collaborating with community organizations from several villages in Tetritskaro Municipality. One of the project activities a hands on model building session, was hosted in the social enterprise Orbis Bude in the village of Samshvilde, run by Lusine Dostibegian. Under the guidance of Giorgi Iashaghvashvili, young architects and volunteers contributed to the process: Nita Iashaghvashvili, Mikheil Chincharauli, Davit Kapanadze, Nikoloz Latsabidze, Ani Bedeladze, and Davit Tsotkhalashvili. Notably, most of them previously volunteered in the National Trust of Georgia’s "Rehabilitation of the Tsiskarauli Tower in Arkhoti" project.
