The architectural diversity of Tao-Klarjeti

On July 19, the Georgian National Foundation hosted a public lecture by Nino Bagrationi: “Architectural Diversity of Tao-Klarjeti”, which aroused great interest from a wide audience. Nino Bagrationi is an architect, she has been participating in the research of the heritage of Tao-Klarjeti since the 90s, has personally measured, described and studied a number of monuments... She also makes a great contribution to the creation of websites on Tao-Klarjeti. Nino offered us a historical and geographical overview of Tao-Klarjeti; told us about the landscape, the architectural and engineering structures preserved there, such as houses, bridges, baths or fortresses... churches of different typologies, monasteries... She introduced us to the current state of these monuments.
