Contest "My Heritage"

The National Foundation of Georgia announces the competition "My heritage". The competition will be held annually with the support of the British Embassy. The competition aims to popularize cultural heritage preservation techniques in Georgia.
This competition was announced for the first time this year by the initiative of the Georgian National Foundation and the Great British Embassy to identify those people who spared no effort to save and preserve cultural heritage.
Among the winners were: Eka Papamichael, Bekar Maisuradze, Ketevan Tvildiani, Khatia Margvelidze, Nika Gugeshashvili, Ekaterine Mukhadze, Nona Otarashvili and Salome Matiashvili.
Thus, in addition to Tbilisi, Racha, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kakheti regions were represented.
Great Britain's ambassador to Georgia, His Excellency Justin McKenzie Smith, presented prizes and certificates of extraordinary merit for the protection of cultural heritage to the winners.
